Networked
One term that seemed to have multiple meanings concerning business growth was “networking”. For some, networking was about compiling a huge database of names, usually by collecting business cards. Others saw networking as the opportunity to get in front of people and personally prospect for business. Still others perceived networking as noyhing more than schmoozing and boozing, with no specific intention except to be seen and socialize.
The entreprenuership of networked is Mark Zuckerberg. Born on May 14, 1984 in White Plans, New York. Mark Zurkerberg co-founded the social-networking website Facebook out of his college dorm room. He left Harvard after his sophomore year to concentrate on the site, the user base of which has grown to more than 250million people, making Zurkerberg a billionaire. Zurkerberg developed an interestin computers at an erly age, when he was about 12,he used Atari BASIC to create a messaging program he nemad “Zucknet”. His father used the program in his dental office, so that the receptionist could inform him of a new patient without yelling across the room. The family also used Zurknet to communicate within the house. Together with his friends, he also created computer games just for fun. “ I had a bunch of friends who were artists,” he said. “ They’d build a game out of it.”
Zurkerberg remained fascinated by computers, and continued to work on developing new programs. While still high shool, he created an erly version of the mucic software Pandora, which he called Synapse. Several companies-including AOL and Microsoft-expressed an interest in buying the software, and hiring the teenager before graduation. He declined the officers.

Instead, he focusedon expanding the site, opening up his project to outside developers and adding more features.

Then, Zuckerberg and Facebook continued to succed, in soite og the criticism. The magazine named him Person of the Year in 2010, and Vanity Fair placed him at the top of their New Establishment list. TEAM ORIENTED
Team orientation means that menbers work together on projects and prefer to not work as individuals. An example of this is a police department working to team orientation to keep neighborhoods. Having been in the design and marketing industry for quite some time and having worked for various companies and on many differents teams, we have learned some valuable lessons along the way. Working in a team oriented enviroment can be tough, especially when each person in the group wants to implement their best ideas, show their worth to the group and have a strong impact on the project and company as a whole. If we had to compile my experiences into one valuable message and explain how anyone can be successful while working within a team oriented environment, it would be to practice.
This is very importance because the last thing you want went working within a team it to be person that no one likes and no one wants to work with. Your goal in the business world and in life should be to remain humble in all that you do so that people will naturally be attracted to you and want to work with you again and again.
The entreprenuership of team oriented is Warby Parker. Warby Parker has been makng and selling prescription glasses online since 2010. It designs its own glasses, and sells directly to customer, cutting out the middleman and keeping prices low.
Company culture at Warby Parker instigates “ culture crushes ”, and one reason for that level of success is a team dedicated to culture. That mean team that a positive culture is on the forefront, setting up fun lunches, events and programs. The company makes sure that there is always an upcoming event so the entire team has something to look forward to, it uses methods to make sure the entire team works well together by insisting everyone helps keep break areas clean or sending random employees out to lunch together.
Warby Parker has made company culture deliberate by creating a dedicated team asked with coming up with events and programs to promote community. Great company culture does not happen on its own.
OUTCOME ORIENTEDOutcome goals are standards based on results such as wining and outcome orientation is a personality disposition in which people tend to define success and failture based on wining and losing.
An outcome orientation where “ what matters” is the outcome example wheather you win or lose or achieve a certain target is presumably constrasted with something like a process orientation, where the focus is on the way you play or perform. For example, a highjumper with an outcome orientation will be concentrating on clearing the bar at a particular height where as someone with a process orientation will be thinking more about the details of their style and performance.
Essentially, outcome oriented investing is the asset manager taking over the asset allocation role and packaging all the building blocks to achieve the desired outcome, whether it is yield, management, and capital preservation. It saves the investor a step, cuts out the expensive middleman in some cases and leaves both sides in a win-win situation, the asset manager tends to get a bigger share of the pie since they are pitching an all in one solution and enjoy “bundling” effects and higher feer for their services, the client wins by saving themselves the headache of either managing their own portfolio blindly or paying an advisor fees to manage it for them, all while leveraging sophisticated models, glidepaths, whatever it may be, to more consistently achieve their outcome.
